It's been a while since I thought of trying an Anpanman themed bento. Today I was able to do so. Mic asked for noodles on her bento. Now that I thought about it, she has been making many requests for her bento. She's a very critical girl. When she thought of something, she would tell us in full explanations. Coincidently, this month's theme for her class is birthday and today the class was having a birthday event. Having that in mind, I tried to incorporate a birthday element to the bento, that's when I decided on Anpanman wearing a party hat.
Inside the bento is two-color fried noodles with salmon and mushroom. Anpanman is made of chicken burger patty, sausages, tomato, nori and smoked beef for the party hat. After school, I asked Mic what's inside her bento and she told me it's a clown. Well, she does have a good point. But, I still insist that it's Anpanman :)
