Be a star!

Yesterday I went to the local market to do my groceries. I bought two items from organic section, one is tiny alphabet pasta and the other one is dry sweet potato noodles.

The sweet potato noodle somehow relates to my other current obsession, which is this Korean variety show 'We Got Married' couple, CNBlue Yonghwa and SNSD Seohyun, also known as the Sweet Potato Couple. It also relates to Mic's current obsession for Purple. Nowadays, she would ask for anything in purple and she was happy when I showed her the purple coloured noodle.





So, the bento theme is be a star. I want to encourage Mic to always try her best in everything she does so she can shine in her own way. Not necessarily being the top of her class but just small thing, like be thoughtful to her friends at school and play happily with all of them. That, I think is more important to learn.





Inside the bento were sweet potato noodles with prawns and white shimeji mushrooms, potato salads, star shaped hard boiled egg, green beans and star shaped carrots.
